Behind the scenes
-
Fynn came back. He's been the heart of Dreambly Me since our first book, so he got a second adventure and a cousin, Frost.
-
A week of riddles. Before the reveal we posted clues, and our VIPs guessed the exact title.
-
Luna's first sketch. This is her before any color.
-
A bonus print. In August, the littlest forest creatures got Woodland Jackalopes. Spot two on the first page.
Fun facts to share at bedtime
-
Snow leopards are called the ghosts of the mountains because they blend into snowy cliffs. Luna makes one daring leap in the book.
-
Jackalopes are a North American tall tale: rabbits with antlers. The winged bunnies in the same print are wolpertingers, from Bavarian legend.
-
Polar bears look white, but their hairs are see-through, and the skin underneath is black.
The heart of the story
Luna starts out as a stranger in the shadows, and the others aren't sure about her. On the last page, Frost tells her:
You've earned our trust, Luna. Thank you for helping us.
Ask at bedtime How do you know you can trust a new friend?
The characters (and their mountains)
