Fun facts to share at bedtime

  • Penguins can't fly through the air, but they zoom underwater, using their flippers like wings.

  • A narwhal's tusk is a tooth, a long spiral one that can grow to about 10 feet.

  • Wolves live in family packs and look out for each other, like the wolves guarding the forest.

  • Fair Isle is a tiny island in Scotland's Shetland Islands, famous for colorful knitted sweaters. Our dragon print borrows the look.

The heart of the story

This time, Santa is the one who needs rescuing, and Mrs. Claus leads the way. It takes the whole team:

The characters (and their pines)

The penguins, narwhals, Yeti and wolves each have a print, and so do the North Pole pines and the little Fair Isle dragons.

Read it together

It's a sturdy board book with rounded corners, so it holds up to little hands and a lot of rereading.
