Inside The Enchanted Crown
The Enchanted Crown was our very first storybook. The pictures match our character prints, so your kid might spot the one they're wearing.
The story
Fynn the dragon guards a sleeping prince. Princess Flora sets out to find the flower that can wake him.

Behind the scenes
-

It started at bedtime. Every time we spotted the koala in Koalacorn, we'd tell our son Khoa, "Look, it's you!" and he'd light up.
-

We learned from scratch. Thang works in analytics and Laura in communications, so months of fabrics, illustrators and factories followed. More than once, we wondered if this was a mid-life crisis.

-

December 2024. We launched with this book, after parents' feedback helped us improve our products.
-

One year later. More than 1,000 families had our stories at home.
-

Still at the kitchen table. We dream up every book there, after the kids are asleep.
Fun facts to share at bedtime
-

The snapping plants are real. They came from the Venus flytraps in our home. Real ones snap shut when a bug brushes their trigger hairs twice.
-

Pitcher plants are real too. Bugs slide into their slippery cup, just like Oliver.
-

Owls can't move their eyes. They turn their heads instead, up to three quarters of the way around.
-

Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish, a perfect name for our fairy.
-

Fynn is in two books. He's back in The Lost Moonstone with his cousin Frost.
The heart of the story
When a giant plant traps Oliver and asks for Flora's crown, she doesn't stop to think:
Without hesitation, Flora removed her precious flower crown, the source of her gift to speak with plants, and placed it on the ground.
Ask at bedtime What would you share to help a friend?
The characters (and their forest)
Each character has a print of their own, and so does the magical forest.
Read it together
It's a sturdy board book, with a read-aloud on YouTube and the eBook on Amazon Kindle.
