Earning Bookmarks

Every order earns Bookmarks automatically. No signup, no button to press. You earn on every whole dollar you pay for products after discounts (shipping and tax do not earn). Your rate grows with your chapter:

  • Chapter I, The Reader: 5 Bookmarks per $1. Everyone starts here.
  • Chapter II, The Dreamer: 10 per $1 once you have earned 500 Bookmarks in the last 12 months.
  • Chapter III, The Dreamweaver: 12 per $1 at 3,500 Bookmarks in the last 12 months.
  • Chapter IV, The Dreamkeeper: 15 per $1 at 8,500 Bookmarks in the last 12 months.

Chapters follow the Bookmarks you have earned with us over the last 12 months, from orders, reviews, and other bonuses, counted after any refunds. As earnings pass the 12 month mark they age out of the count, so a quiet year can move you down a chapter. Anything new counts right away. Orders are still the heart of it: a year with no orders means Chapter I, even if bonuses came in.

New Bookmarks sit as pending for 14 days, then unlock on their own.

Your anniversary

Each year on the anniversary of your first order we add 500 Bookmarks, as a thank-you for reading with us. You get it as long as you have ordered or used a reward code in the 12 months before that anniversary. After a quiet year the anniversary bonus pauses, and your next order starts it up again.

Seeing and spending

Bookmarks collect under the email you use at checkout, even when you check out as a guest. Sign in with that email to see your balance and your reward codes. They live behind the profile icon at the top of the site, and on the rewards page.

When you have enough Bookmarks for a reward, its code simply appears. Using a code at checkout is what spends the Bookmarks. An unused code never costs you anything. One reward code per order, and each reward has a small minimum order size, shown right on its card.

Balances refresh within a few hours of an order, a redemption, or a refund. If your balance ever looks a step behind, give it a few hours before you worry.

Refunds and cancellations

If an order is cancelled or fully refunded, everything moves back where it was: Bookmarks you earned on it come off, and Bookmarks you spent on it come back. On a partial refund, the earned Bookmarks adjust to what you kept, and any reward you used stays used.

Expiry

Bookmarks expire after 12 months without an order or a redemption. We'll email you well before that happens, starting 30 days out. Any activity resets the clock.

The boring but necessary part

Bookmarks are a thank-you, not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and only work on dreamblyme.com. We may adjust the program as it grows, but changes will never remove Bookmarks you have already earned, and we'll announce anything meaningful before it happens. Abuse of the program (fake accounts, refund games) can end an account's participation, and we'd rather never have to use that sentence.
